CHP reports that at least one person died in the crash
Goleta, CA. – At least one person died in a car accident on Thursday afternoon in Goleta.
The fatal crash was reported around 12:33 p.m. on Highway 101 near Las Varas Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles, possibly a Ford Expedition and a semi-truck, were involved in the accident. The events preceding the crash were yet to be established.
