Police said two vehicles crashed in the area and one of them rolled into the center median following the accident
Gardena, CA.- One person was killed in a crash that happened in Gardena on Saturday morning, according to the Gardena Police Department.
The incident took place in the 2900 block of Rosecrans Avenue east of Crenshaw Boulevard at about 6:30 a.m.
Police said two vehicles crashed in the area and one of them rolled into the center median following the accident.
The driver of the vehicle that tolled over was killed in the crash.
The second motorist reportedly left the scene of the crash but returned shortly after and was placed under arrest.
Police are working to determine the cause of the accident.
