One person died after being struck by a car on 10 Freeway near Watson Road in Buckeye on Thursday morning

Buckeye, AZ – One person died after being struck by a car in Buckeye early Thursday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The accident was reported around 1 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway near Watson Road.
Troopers say a man was struck by a car on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
