CHP says one person died in a collision involving two cars on the 15 Freeway near Old Highway 395 in Oceanside

San Diego, Calif. – At least one person was killed in a Wednesday morning car crash near Bonsall in San Diego.
The fatal crash happened around 7:40 a.m. on Interstate 15 Freeway near Old Highway 395, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A red Nissan and a second vehicle, possibly a black Infiniti, were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined. One of the cars reportedly rolled over and landed on its wheels after the crash.
At least one person was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
