Buckeye, AZ.- One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision involving semi-trucks near Buckeye late Thursday night, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The incident occurred on Interstate 10 at milepost 108, at around 11 p.m. September 11.
According to the AZDPS, at least two semi-trucks were among multiple vehicles that collided in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near Palo Verde Road.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It's unclear whether other involved parties were injured.
No further details were immediately provided.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
