Jennifer Parise Dies in Portland Multi-Car Crash at 181st and Glisan
Portland, Oregon (June 27, 2023) –40-year-old Jennifer Leigh Parise was killed Sunday evening after a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Portland.
According to the Gresham Police officers, the fatal crash happened shortly after 6 p.m. on June 25 at northeast 181st and Glisan.
Per the report, a car suspected to be ferrying a string of armed robberies was travelling at a high rate of speed and caused a five-car crash in the area.
Parise sustained injuries and was killed in the car accident.
Three parties were transported to a hospital for treatment with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol impairment and extreme speeding was a factor in the wreck.
The suspect Nathaniel Franklin Jr., 67, was taken to Gresham Police Department. He was charged with DUI, manslaughter, assault and driving while suspended.
More information about the crash was not released.
An investigation is underway.
