Apple Valley, CA. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred at around 6:44 a.m. on Bear Valley Road near Quinnault Road.
A preliminary investigation indicates a sedan was traveling east on Bear Valley Road when it collided with a westbound SUV.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene, and two occupants of the SUV were transported to a nearby hospital.
Bear Valley Road is closed between Central and Navajo Roads to facilitate the investigation.
