One person was injured in a two-car accident on the 8 Freeway near Morena Boulevard in San Diego
San Diego, Calif. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident in San Diego on Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:16 p.m. on the eastbound 8 Freeway near Morena Boulevard.
Two vehicles were recovered at the accident scene, but the events leading up to the accident were yet to be established.
CHP says at least one person suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
