1 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 12 at Highway 49 in San Andreas

San Andreas, California (November 3, 2023) – One person was airlifted to the hospital after being injured in a car accident in San Andreas on Friday afternoon.

The accident was reported around 3:06 p.m. on Highway 12 at Highway 49, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two vehicles, possibly a Ford Mustang and a black SUV, were involved in the collision. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately established.

CHP says at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
