1 Injured in Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Madison Avenue in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (June 27, 2023) – One person was seriously injured in a car crash that happened early Tuesday morning in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on westbound 80 Freeway near Madison Avenue at around 12:43 a.m.
A big rig and a second vehicle were involved in the collision. The impact of the collision sent the car off the roadway, where it crashed into a guardrail.
CHP says at least one person suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
