Wheelchair Rider Hurt in Newhall Pedestrian Crash on Lyons Ave

Newhall, Calif. – A man who was on a wheelchair was struck and injured by a vehicle in Newhall on Thursday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The incident took place in the 23500 block of Lyons Avenue at around 3:21 p.m.
The vehicle struck the wheelchair rider under unclear circumstances.
The victim was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
No further details were released. The accident is under investigation.
