Oakland, CA – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a Sunday evening car accident in Oakland, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 10:46 p.m. on the westbound 80 Freeway near Powell Street.
The officers who responded to the incident located two vehicles at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP says at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
