Redwood City, CA. – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that injured one person on Monday evening in Redwood City.
The accident happened at around 5:48 p.m. on southbound Highway 101, just north of Woodside Road.
Police said three vehicles including a white Acura and a Toyota Prius collided for reasons still under investigation. The Acura and the Toyota sustained significant front-end damage following the collision.
Emergency crews and medics responded to the scene to attend to one person who complained of neck and back pain due to the collision.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.
