San Diego, CA. – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that injured one person on Wednesday afternoon in San Diego.
The accident happened at around 5:23 p.m. on 8 Freeway and 805 Freeway.
Police said five vehicles collided for reasons yet to be determined.
Emergency crews and medics rushed to the scene to aid at least one person hurt in the collision. The name of the patient and their current condition were not provided.
The vehicles were blocking all lanes expect lane 1 following the crash.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.
