Riverside, Calif. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident on Tuesday afternoon near Corona in Riverside County.
At around 12:09 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a wreck on the eastbound 91 Freeway near Green River Road.
Two vehicles were recovered at the accident scene, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP says one person sustained minor injuries in the collision and was transported to Placentia-Linda Hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
