Los Angeles, California (November 10, 2023) – A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a car in Chinatown, Los Angeles, on Friday morning.

The pedestrian accident happened near the intersection of East Cesar E Chavez Avenue and North Alameda Street at around 6 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The pedestrian was in the street when he was hit by a driver headed to work.

The unidentified pedestrian suffered major injuries and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
