One person was injured after two cars collided on Highway 99 near Houghton Road in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a Saturday evening car accident that left at least one person in Bakersfield on Saturday evening.
At around 6:59 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a collision on Highway 99 near Houghton Road.
The authorities who responded to the incident recovered three vehicles at the accident scene. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately established.
One person was injured in the accident and was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.
