One Person Hospitalized After Pleasant Grove Crash near W Riego Road and Pacific Avenue

Pleasant Grove, California (November 7, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after a van rear-ended a semi-truck Monday morning in Pleasant Grove, the California Highway Patrol said.

Authorities received reports of the collision around 11:09 a.m. near W Riego Road and Pacific Avenue.

A silver Dodge van was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it went off the roadway, overcorrected, and slammed into the back of a semi-truck trailer.

The vehicles were blocking traffic lanes after the crash.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
