Fresno, CA – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident that happened near Selma on Saturday afternoon. The California Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 3:51 p.m.

The officers who responded to the incident near Mountain View Avenue and Sunnyside Avenue recovered a semi-truck and a red Dodge Ram pickup truck at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.

One person was injured in the accident and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
