Pismo, CA. – At least one person sustained minor injuries following a multi-vehicle collision on Thursday afternoon in Pismo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 4:28 p.m. on June 20, on southbound Highway 101 near Avila Beach Drive.
Police said three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene in a ground ambulance. One person was treated for minor injuries due to the collision.
It was not immediately known if the party was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
Traffic delays were experienced on Highway 101 in both directions.
Traffic was diverted to the Avila Beach Drive exit.
An investigation is underway.
