Merced Multi-Car Accident Injures One Person on Highway 59 and Childs Avenue

Merced, California (September 18, 2023) – One person was injured after a multi-vehicle collision early Saturday morning in Merced.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 4:58 a.m. on September 16 on northbound State Route 59 just south of West Childs Avenue.

A white Freightliner and two vehicles of unknown make and model were involved in the crash. The manner in which they collided was not immediately established.

One person was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Additional information about the collision was not available.
