The CHP reported that at least five vehicles were involved in the wreck on U.S. 50 near Stockton Boulevard

Sacramento, CA.- One person was hospitalized after being involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Sacramento on Tuesday evening, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on U.S. 50 near Stockton Boulevard at about 4:49 p.m.

The CHP reported that at least five vehicles were involved in the wreck.

One person complained of pain and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

At least three lanes were shut down as authorities investigated the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
