Page, AZ – One person was killed and several other people were injured in a head-on collision on Coppermine Road in Page on Wednesday.
According to the Arizona Police Department, the wreck occurred on May 14 on Coppermine Road near State Route 98.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a southbound sedan drifted into the centerline in unclear circumstances and collided head-on with a northbound Antelope Slot Canyon Tours bus.
The operator of the sedan was pronounced dead at the crash site. Several people on the tour bus were seriously hurt.
Speed and alcohol were not suspected to be the cause of the mishap.
The identity of the deceased was not disclosed.
No additional information about the wreck was provided.
An investigation is underway.
