1 Critically Injured in Collision at Highway 395 and Mojave Drive in Adelanto

Adelanto, California (November 3, 2023) – One person was airlifted to a trauma center after a car crash in Adelanto on Friday morning.

The accident was reported around 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 395 and Mojave Drive, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

A white Volkswagen Beetle and a black Chevy Camaro reportedly collided at the border of Victorville and Adelanto.

One person suffered major injuries in the accident and was airlifted to a trauma center in critical condition.

A female occupant from the Beetle was treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital for treatment.

The male driver of the Camaro was arrested after police located a gun inside the car.

More details about the accident were not released.

CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
