Abhinav Srivastava Killed, Passenger Airlifted after Collision at SR 243 and SR 26 in Grant County

Grant County, Washington County (May 13, 2023) – 32-year-old Abhinav Srivastava has been identified as the man who died in a collision near Vantage in Grant County on Friday evening.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 243 and Highway 26.

Srivastava was driving a car through the intersection when he was t-boned by another vehicle traveling eastbound on SR 26.

Srivastava, a Richland resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in Srivastava’s vehicle was seriously injured and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The driver of the second vehicle was unhurt.

More details about the crash were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
