Aaron Lam Injured in Fatal Crash on Highway 152 in Los Banos

Los Banos, California (February 18, 2023) – Aaron Lam, 21, of Long Beach, has been identified as the man who was seriously injured in a traffic accident that killed three people on Tuesday in Los Banos, according to the Merced County Sheriff’s Office.

The deadly accident happened on February 14 on Highway 152 near Hilldale Avenue.

According to the officials, Lam was traveling eastbound on the highway when he lost control of his Mercedes, causing it to overturn and roll to the other side of the road.

Unfortunately, the Mercedes landed on top of a Toyota Tacoma occupied by Jaime Romo Islas, 42, Roberto Romo Islas, 38, and Francisco Javier Sandoval Rodriguez, 31. The Toyota was traveling westbound at the time.

The debris struck one other vehicle from the collision.

Sadly, Jaime, Roberto and Rodriguez sustained fatal injuries in the accident.

Lam was flown to Doctor’s Hospital in Modesto with major injuries.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
