Peoria, AZ. – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash that happened in Peoria on Wednesday afternoon, according to a report by the Peoria Police Department.
The wreck occurred at about 3:30 p.m. April 9, near 79th and Peoria avenues.
Cristofer Paz Gutirrez, 22, of Glendale, was traveling eastbound on Peoria Avenue when he crashed his motorcycle into the rear of a Toyota Camry stopped for traffic.
Gutirrez was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The other motorist did not report any injuries.
No further details were released.
The crash is under investigation.
