2 Seriously Hurt in San Bernardino Car Accident near Del Rosa and Highland Avenues

San Bernardino, California (April 30, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday afternoon involving several cars at an intersection in San Bernardino.

According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the wreck happened just after 2:30 p.m. near Del Rosa and Highland Avenues.

As per the report, a car that overturned at the accident site was going southbound on Del Rosa Avenue when they ran a red light, causing the multi-vehicle crash.

The impact of the accident left several cars with significant damage.

Authorities said several parties had to be extricated from their vehicles.

Two people were transported to a nearby Trauma Centre with severe injuries. Seven other parties sustained moderate injuries, and some were also hospitalized as a precaution.

It is unknown whether drugs and alcohol played a role in the incident.
