6 Hospitalized after Los Angeles Car Accident on East 36th Street near South Main Street Saturday afternoon
Los Angeles, California (July 14, 2019) – Six people were injured Saturday afternoon in a two-car crash in Los Angeles, according to a local news source.
The wreck was reported at about 1:58 p.m. Saturday, July 13 in the 100 block of East 36th Street in the Historic South Central Los Angeles neighborhood.
Officials said two vehicles collided on 36th Street for an undetermined reason.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated two people who were trapped inside the wreckage.

The freed parties were transported to a hospital where they were listed in serious condition. Four other patients, a 46-year-old man, a 46-year-old woman, an 8-year-old boy, and a 7-year-old girl, were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The names of all the patients at this time were not disclosed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
