5 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision at M Street and West 23rd in Merced

Merced, California (May 1, 2023) – Five people were injured in a car crash that happened on Saturday night in Merced.

According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at M Street and West 23rd around 9:10 p.m.

The Merced Fire Department recovered three vehicles at the accident scene. A Toyota Tacoma was pinned against a tree after the collision and the driver had to be extricated.

Five people were injured in the crash and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
