5 Suffer Minor Injuries in Sanger Car Accident on Highway 180 near S Reed Avenue

Sanger, California (April 12, 2023) – Five people were hospitalized after two vehicles collided Monday morning on a highway in Sanger, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The wreck occurred at about 8:30 a.m. on eastbound Highway 180 at Reed Avenue.

A red Toyota pickup truck and a gray Nissan sedan were involved in the accident after the truck reportedly ran a red light.

CHP officers and firefighters responded to the scene.

A total of five people from both vehicles were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
