Four Hurt in Lake Cachuma Crash on Highway 154

Lake Cachuma, California (April 23, 2023) – Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision near Lake Cachuma on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck took place on Highway 154, near the entrance to Lake Cachuma, at around 6:15 p.m. April 22.

CHP said at least three vehicles, including a motorcycle, were involved in the collision.

Two motorcycle riders sustained critical injuries.

One of the injured parties was airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. 

Three other patients were transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Both sides of Highway 154 were shut down as authorities investigated the crash.

The CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the incident.
