4 Injured in Antelope Car Accident at Roseville Road and Whyte Avenue
Sacramento, California (October 24, 2022) – Four people were injured in a head-on collision involving a suspected stolen vehicle in Antelope on Monday morning.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident happened at around 9 a.m. near the intersection of Roseville Road and Whyte Avenue.
A Roseville police officer was pursuing a black truck possibly matching the description of a stolen vehicle that was speeding on the highway.
The suspect reportedly collided head-on with a two-door coupe at a curve on the highway. The impact of the crash caused one of the cars to crash into a home near the intersection.
4 Hospitalized after Head-On Collision Involving Stolen Vehicle in Antelope
A man a woman and a child in the coupe were seriously injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The suspect also suffered major injuries and was transported to the hospital. Officers believe the driver was under the influence of drugs.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
