4 Injured in Corning Car Accident on Liberal Avenue near Interstate 5

Corning, California (May 13, 2023) – Four people were hospitalized after being injured in a car crash on Friday afternoon in Corning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Liberal Avenue near Interstate 5 at around 3:35 p.m.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the cars reportedly overturned, trapping a child inside.

One person was seriously injured in the crash and was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.

Three patients were taken to the hospital by ground ambulance.
