4 Injured in Toppenish Car Accident at Meyers Road and Track Road

Toppenish, Washington (April 17, 2023) – Four people were injured in a car crash that happened on Saturday morning in Toppenish.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Meyers Road and Track Road at around 10:45 a.m.
Venkat Bandhakavi, 41, of Sacramento, was driving a 2021 Toyota Sienna southbound on Meyers when he failed to yield the right of way and struck a 1995 Dodge Ram driven by Ausencio Pacheco, 73.
Ausencio and his passenger, Elia Pacheco, 68, both of Granger, were injured in the accident and were taken to MultiCare Yakima Memorial for treatment.
Keerthi Bandhakavi, 39, and Tanvi Bandhakavi, 13, were riding in the Sienna and were taken to MultiCare Yakima Memorial.
A juvenile passenger in the Sienna was unhurt.
Drugs and alcohol were ruled out as factors in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
