3 Killed in Fiery Car Accident at 19th Avenue and Loop 101 in Phoenix

Phoenix, Arizona (February 24, 2023) – Three people were killed in a fiery head-on collision on Thursday night in Phoenix.

Phoenix police say the accident happened in the area of 19th Avenue and Loop 101 at around 11:30 p.m.

Three cars were involved in the collision. Two of the cars were involved in a head-on collision, with both vehicles catching fire after the crash.

A driver and a passenger in one of the cars, identified as adult males, were transported to an area hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
