Phoenix, Arizona (October 29, 2022) – Three people were hospitalized after a T-bone crash that also left a power box and a fire hydrant destroyed Friday night in Phoenix, as per a local news source.

The collision took place just after 8 p.m. at 75th Avenue and Indian School Road.

According to authorities, a white pickup truck t-boned a Mazda SUV under unclear circumstances. The SUV lost control and crashed into an electrical box and a water hydrant.

A man in his 20s and a man in his 40s, along with a woman in her 60s, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the accident. One of them had to be extricated from their vehicle. All three victims were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Power went out at the intersection, and water from the hydrant caused a sinkhole.

Southbound 75th Avenue was closed from Indian School Road for an unknown period following the accident.

Phoenix police are investigating the cause of the collision.
