Three Hurt in Oakland Train Accident on Eighth Street 

Oakland, California (May 16, 2023) – Three people were injured in a collision involving a train in Oakland on Monday night, according to the authorities.

The incident took place just before 11:30 p.m. May 15, on East Eighth Street and Seventh Avenue.

A Daly City-bound train reportedly collided with a pickup truck between Lake Merritt and Coliseum stations.

The operator of the train was taken to a hospital for treatment.

A passenger on the train was also injured.

The driver of the truck was transported with unspecified injuries.
