2 Fresno Police Officers Hurt in Fresno Accident on Belmont and Fulton Street 

Fresno, California (May 21, 2023) – Two police officers were injured in a crash with a civilian vehicle on Saturday evening in Central Fresno, according to the authorities.

The wreck occurred at Belmont and Fulton Street at about 5:30 p.m. May 20.

Authorities said the officers were in a patrol vehicle traveling eastbound on Belmont when they were involved in a collision with a westbound car that was making a left turn onto Fulton Street.

The impact caused the patrol car to strike a tree.

The two officers and the woman driving the other vehicle were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Drugs or alcohol were not suspected to have been involved in the incident.

An investigation into the wreck is ongoing.
