3 Seriously Injured in Calistoga Crash on Highway 29
Calistoga, California (December 25, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday afternoon two-vehicle accident that seriously injured three people in Calistoga.
The major injury accident occurred at about 4:47 p.m., on December 24, in the 5600 block of Highway 29 near Mount St. Helena.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda SUV collided with a Nissan Leaf hatchback on the highway in unclear circumstances.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated three trapped parties in the wreckage.
The three patients were seriously injured in the accident and were flown to trauma centers for treatment.
Traffic on the highway was stopped for about an hour due to the mishap.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
