Three Hurt in Corona Accident near Promenade Avenue and Cresta Road

Corona, California (February 26, 2023) – Three people were injured in collision early Saturday morning in Corona, according to the Corona Police Department.

The incident occurred near Promenade Avenue and Cresta Road at around 2:13 a.m.

A gray 2003 Acura TL driven by a 17-year-old Corona boy and a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 44-year-old Corona woman were involved.

The teenage driver suffered critical injuries while the other driver and a 50-year-old Riverside man in her car had significant injuries.

It’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
