Three Hurt in Fairfield Accident on Interstate 80

Fairfield, California (April 24, 2023) – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Monday morning in Fairfield, according to the authorities.

The wreck happened on Interstate 80, just east of the Manuel Campos Parkway offramp at around 6:50 a.m.

CHP said seven vehicles were involved in the collision on the westbound side of I-80.

Three people were transported with minor to moderate injuries.

The westbound lanes were shut down as crews worked to clear the scene.

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
