3 Injured in Pescadero Car Accident on Highway 1 near Pigeon Point Road

Pescadero, California (February 24, 2023) – Three persons suffered minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident on Thursday morning in Pescadero, according to police.

The collision occurred on southbound Highway 1, just south of Pigeon Point Road, at around 7:24 a.m. on February 23.

Police said a Toyota and a Honda Accord collided head-on for reasons yet to be determined.

Three patients were treated for minor injuries by responding emergency crews and medics. It was not immediately known if the parties were taken to the hospital for further treatment. 

The two vehicles sustained significant front damage and blown-out tires due to the collision. The two were towed away from the accident location.

Authorities blocked the southbound lanes of Highway 1 following the accident.

Further details concerning this collision were not released.

The incident remains under investigation.
