3 Injured, 2 Critically, After Traffic Collision at Granite Hill Drive and Soto Avenue in Jurupa Valley

Jurupa Valley, California (May 17, 2023) – Three people were hospitalized, two in critical condition, after a two-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in Jurupa Valley.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the wreck transpired at around 2 p.m. at Granite Hill Drive and Soto Avenue.

Two vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection for an unknown reason.

Multiple fire engine crews responded to the scene.

Two people were seriously injured in the accident. Both victims were taken to Riverside Community Hospital in critical condition.

A third person was also taken to the same facility with moderate injuries.

The intersection remained partially closed during the rescue operation and as deputies investigated.
