According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. at Grand Avenue and Maiden Lane, just in front of the Riverside County Fire Department Station 11.

Riverside County, CA. – Three people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Thursday evening at an intersection in Lakeland Village, a census-designated place in Riverside County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. at Grand Avenue and Maiden Lane, just in front of the Riverside County Fire Department Station 11.
A white 2010 Volkswagen Passat and a gray 2005 Toyota Camry were involved in the crash. The Passat reportedly veered from the southbound side to the northbound side just before the crash.
Three people suffered unspecified injuries in the crash.
One of the patients was airlifted to Riverside University Health System.
The other two patients, only identified as a female and an adult male, were taken by ground ambulance to Inland Valley Hospital.
Both cars were towed away from the scene.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
