3 Killed and 7 Injured in Whitewater Car Crash on 10 Freeway near Haugen Lehmann Way
Riverside County, California (May 14, 2023) – Three people are dead and several others were hospitalized following a car crash on Sunday morning in Whitewater.
At around 7:27 a.m. the Riverside Fire Department and the CHP received reports of a traffic collision on eastbound 10 Freeway near Haugen Lehmann Way.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision, with some parties being ejected.
Three people are reported to have died at the accident scene.

Authorities say two people suffered major injuries and were airlifted to a trauma center for treatment.
Three people had moderate injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Two people were treated at the scene and released.
Eastbound Interstate 10 was expected to remain closed for approximately eight hours as the freeway was cleared.
More details about the accident were not released.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
