Man, Woman and Infant Critically Injured in Collision at 22nd Street and McDowell Road in Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona (May 25, 2023) – Three people including an infant were critically injured in a car crash that happened in central Phoenix on Thursday morning.
At around 11 a.m., the police and fire crews responded to reports of a multi-vehicle collision near 22nd Street and McDowell Road.
The impact of the collision caused one of the cars to crash into a power pole.
An infant, a man in his 30s and a woman in his 30s, were critically injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities closed McDowell Road between SR 51 and 24th Street as the scene was cleared.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
