Lancaster, CA. – Two women were injured in a traffic accident that happened Saturday night in Lancaster.
Authorities said the accident was reported around 10:10 p.m. in the 8100 block of West Avenue D.
Two women were reportedly hit by a Lexus ES 350 heading westbound.
Emergency personnel transported one woman to the hospital and the other was transported to a hospital by a private car, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, it was unclear whether either woman sustained fatal injuries.
Reportedly, someone called the Lancaster Sheriff's Station saying her mother and sister had been struck by a vehicle.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
