At Least 1 Injured in Fresno Crash at Perrin and Maple Avenues 

Fresno, California (May 17, 2023) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in northeast Fresno on Monday night, according to the Fresno Police Department.

The incident took place in the area of Perrin and Maple avenues at about 8:20 p.m. May 15.

Authorities said a woman in a white Acura was making a turn at the light when a speeding car failed to stop for a red light and struck her.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Police said the driver was suspected of DUI.

The driver of the Acura was able to walk away from the crash.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
