5 Hospitalized in Highway 50 Crash in El Dorado County 

El Dorado County, California (April 11, 2023) – Several people were injured in a rollover collision in El Dorado County on Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident took place on Highway 50 east of Pollock Pines at around 12:15 p.m. April 9.

CHP said a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2021 Hyundai Palisade were involved in the incident.

The Chevrolet rolled over following the collision.

A passenger in one of the vehicles, a 46-year-old San Francisco resident, was flown by helicopter to a trauma center with major injuries.

Four other passengers were transported by ambulance and were reportedly in stable condition.

Seven other parties were treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The CHP is investigating the collision.
